FAA plan topic of town hall meeting

In their effort to fight the FAA’s flight path redesign, state and local lawmakers and others are holding a town hall meeting discussion on the topic.

 

On Tuesday, July 1, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Senator Christopher Dodd, Congressman Christopher Shays and Attorney General Richard Blumenthal will speak to constituents at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Avenue.

 

Hosted by the Alliance for Sensible Airspace Planning and Mayor Richard Moccia of Norwalk, the meeting will be moderated by Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi, chairman of the alliance.

 

Other invited guests include: Senator Joe Lieberman, Congressman John Hall of New York, and Acting FAA Administrator Robert Sturgell.

 

Following an Introduction, the panel will provide a presentation and overview of the topic before opening the floor to questions.
