Congressman Christopher Shays, R-4, will host an Energy Leadership Round Table Thursday, Aug. 7, in the Norwalk City Hall community room, from 10 a.m. to noon.
The round table will bring churches, businesses, utilities, nonprofits, foundations and other leaders together to collaborate on how to provide energy assistance resources and how to address energy needs in communities across the district
The event includes Robert Genuario, Secretary of the State of Connecticut Office of Policy and Management; Paul S. Timpanelli, president and chief executive officer of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council; Christopher P. Bruhl, president and CEO of the Business Council of Fairfield County; Claudette Beaulieu, deputy commissioner for programs, state Department of Social Services and Joseph Mann, executive director of Norwalk Economic Opportunity Now, Inc.
